This quote is one of my favorites from the book so far.

  1. I loved this quote! A major theme in the book is the transition from childhood to adulthood. The fact that the MC is telling the story as an adult reflecting back as a child adds to this theme. Also, the fact that the MC is constantly connecting grown ups with authority and being fearless.

  2. That really comes into play near the end when Ursula leaves for good, showing her fear. And then ginnies fear shows as well. Its almost like as a kid then an adult he comes to understand that fear is something everyone has
